In case you want a realistic portrait, work will begin directly on the canvas based on the image or reference photography. On the contrary, if you want an image worked with surreal elements or in a special style, a pencil sketch will be worked prior to the paint, which is shown to the client to obtain their authorization before starting to paint it.
Be for consideration: paint can be in oil or acrylic. Dry acrylic painting immediately, so it is recommended to perform academic work, or that require being delivered quickly. Oil paint takes longer to dry (approximately 7 days after application) and is therefore recommended for portraits and decorative art.
